Repasseado emerged in the summer of 2019 to consolidate the work of a team with 20 years of experience booking concerts and tours in festivals and venues around the world. They wereresponsible for the Portuguese band Dazkarieh career for 15 years, a notorious journey in festivals all over the world, showing that Portugal still had many surprises to show in the roots musicscene.
Repasseado seeks to bring together a community of artists at the forefront of Portuguese music. A vanguard that increasingly includes elements of Portuguese culture and identity togetherwith the most contemporary expressions.
In recent years Repasseado team has been actively involved in the careers of its artists who have played in festivals such as Womex, Reepperbahn, Eurosonic, Rudolstadt, Kaustinen, Viljandi,Dranouter, Live at Heart, Exib Musica, FolkHebst, WestWay Lab, Med, Iminente, Artes à Rua, etc., and in the production of educational and involving local communities projects. They have alsoconsolidated themselves on national and international radio and charts and have had reviews in important world music magazines such as Songlines, Folker, fRoots and Folkworld.
Repasseado bets on booking and management of its artists but also encompasses a know-how that ranges from ethno-musical knowledge to new technologies such as video-maping, lightdesign with time code programming and live looping.
The national and internationalization consolidation of Repasseado artists is undoubtedly a focal point of a work that seeks to make the world aware of an emerging Portuguese musical identity.
